Finding larger, affordable area rugs can be pretty challenging. Many stores sell small rugs, but when you’re looking at sizes around 8x 10 feet (which is approx. 2.44m x 3.05m) the prices go up quickly. HomeDepot.ca currently has Korhani area rugs in many sizes at up to 60% off. There are just three PH8 locations in Canada — at the Toronto Eaton Centre, at Metropolis in Metrotown (BC) and in West Edmonton.

$0.99 Smartphones including Blackberry Bold on a 3-Year Rogers Contract

We’re not entirely sure at this point, but it looks like this could be the Rogers Wireless Boxing Week promotion. Right now you can pick up a number of select Rogers smartphones for only $0.99 on a 3-year Rogers contract with select plans. The plans basically all require a data plan of some sort, but if you’re buying a smartphone, you’d probably need one anyways. The phones included in the promotion are:

Nokia N86 8MP – $0.99
Sony Ericsson X1 – $0.99
HTC Magic – $0.99
BlackBerry Bold 9000 White – $0.99
LG Eve – $0.99 (currently out of stock)

The 3-year contract is probably the biggest barrier for this one. There’s a lot of competition on the horizon and prices across the board are expected to fall. That being said, even the new competitors will have to lock you into some type of contract to subsidize their phones to this level.
